RE: Favorite motorcycle book?
Riding the Edge by Dave Barr is hands down the best book I've read about motorcycling and life.
This is a guy that is a dual amputee and he rode a '72 Harley around the world. 83000 miles and just about every country on the globe, to include China! Great read, I highly recommend this book.

Two Wheeled Thunder by William Campbell Gault. It's a book for young readers (kids). I first read it in second grade (1962) and I will still pick it up and read it today. I must have read that book two hundred times. I knew at age 6 that motorcycles were my passion and they still are.

Being the old ex-hippie that I am...
Hell's Angels, a strange and terrible saga by Hunter S. Thompson
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig
The first showed me how weird the world is and the second how to be one with your machine.

Under and alone is an excellent read. I just went out tonight and bought Hell's Angel. So far it's a very good book. Shows you the other side of life.

My Favorite is:
100 Years Of Harley Davidson By Willie G Davidson- After reading this book I finally gained a real perspective of my bikes heritage,it's roots,I'll never look at my bike the same way again.I'll be purchasing a copy,a nice lagre coffee table sized book to be enjoyed over and over.
Under And Alone By:William Queen - Hells Angel By Sonny Barger - Two vastly different sides of the same coin, both equally worthwhile reads.
I'll soon be seeking out the other books mentioned here for further wintertime reading - Thanks to all for your recomendations...
