Lone Star Rally - Galveston, TX Nov 3 - 6
#12
I usually make it for at least one day. My brother is a Blue Knight so I ride in with them. Last year the Moody Bank parking area was reserved for them and guests with free BBQ all day.
It was too crowded last year, at least on Saturday. Are they trying to compress it all into too small an area now?

Still had a good time, and will be going back, at least for Saturday.

Lonestar!
I will be there all weekend. This has become a huge rally and is lots of fun. Hangin' on The Strand or cruisin the beach - its all good. People watching is some of the best I have seen. It is definitely getting HUGE.
Anybody hear is Moody Gardens is going to do a concert this year? Can't believe they don't take advantage of the captive audience.

Music
I did find out btw (and now updated on lsr web site) there will be concerts Friday and Saturday night at Pier 21 (guess they will be setting up a venue of some type).
I was suprised to see they are charging minimum $30 for general admission tickets - line up is Marshall Tucker / Fuel and Buchcherry / Fabulous Thunderbirds. Again, the $30 per show seems kinda pricey to me for these bands - wonder what turn out wil be like.

Sounds like a nice event. I had not heard of it. I have given up on Myrtle Beach and Daytona.
But alas, all the jabs, spears and abuse I would have to endure from the anti trailer crowd when I leave the snowy north western Illinois area in my truck and trailer to get a few days of glorious riding and enjoying a motorcycle event.
