nice pics..my father in law,god rest his soul,was the ball gunner in one of those during ww2.flew something like 53 missions.crazy son of a gun that he was.

My dad didn't like the b-17 always said it was overrated, when I'd ask him why he would just say " because " nothing more . I'm thinking if anyone had the right to diss on the b-17 it was him as he was a tail gunner in a b-24. There must have been a rivalry between the two back then kind of a ford vs. chevy thing LOL. truely he loved all aircraft to the day he died if a plane went over he would stop what he was doing to watch

I saw a B-17 in the air at an air show a coupla years back. Heckuva piece of kit.

For all those who've not seen one in motion, you think a V-Twin makes a lovely noise? Try four Wright Cyclones...

Years ago a B-17 came to an airshow I was at. They are amazing to see fly. Your bike looks very nice pictured with that plane.

You just gave me a great idea too...we have the only flying B29 being housed here at Addison now...that's gonna make a great picture!
