As for high boots; not a chance, too damn hot. Well, it’s in the 70’s approx. but forget high boots. Maybe in Jan / Feb when it gets into the mid to high sixty’s and a little cooler here.

Only bought the half boots ‘cuz of the bike. Not even sure I like ‘em, prefer sneakers and shorts.

Kinda new to riding so best to wear Jeans & boots; ............... and forget the jacket, …..T shirt all the way. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Oh, and I'm not really into bell bottoms. [8D] lol

If you have slip-on type boots (engineer style) try boots that lace up . My official HD boots with a side zip ride right up to the top of the boot , when I wear these (seldom) I have some stirrups I made . Even when wearing my 6-7" hunting boots that lace up my cuffs stay put . Forward controls + slick leather = ride-up !

Same here in Florida. Wouldn't even consider "half" boots. What gets my goat is when my jeans ride up over my full boots...

Wear mine year round here in Texas. If they are ridin above your boots sittin down their probly only down to your ankles standin. Gotta get some and get that frayed look in the back from draggin the ground. Problem solved.

Longer jeans, higher boots. High boots are not hot. They protect your legs from engine and exhaust heat.
