I purchased a Garmin Nuvi, tried to figure that PC of crap out and returned it for my money back.
I have MotionX GPS Drive app, and it freaking walks circles around that Nuvi. Voice guidance you can purchase by the month or year.
I just save destinations and pull them up as needed.

GPS Drive, by MotionX. Not sure it'll do all you want, but it'll do turn-by-turn nav with optional voice directions here in the CONUS. The original cost is something like 4 or 5 bucks, and if you want voice directions, that's a couple bucks/month, or 25 a year. Sorry, you'll have to do the Euro conversion. But it's not much. Look it up in the App Store.

You can get Mapquest for I-phone and it has Voice navigation and you can download custom routes to it from you computer. Here is how to load them.

I also downloaded mapquest on my iPhone because the google maps don't work properly as a gps on iPhone. You can customize your route on the computer and then pull it up on your iPhone but I have found that it still tries to reroute you the fastest way espesially if you have a loop planed. I did notice if you are at a pit stop and clear your route and then restart it, it helps a little bit. I too like to preplan routes and put it in a gps so I don't have to memorize a bunch of turns but I haven't found the perfect solution yet at least not on iPhone.

One other thing that is nice using your Phone as a gps is you turn pandora on and the gps plug it into the aux port on stereo and have music and the gps will cut in and you can here your turn by turn over your speakers. At least I can on my ultra.
