Seriously? They were all disqualified?

And they're going after Barclay's winnings from last year?

Incredible! This Indian had better brace for impact. I see at least 11 major lawsuits inbound.

I have great respect for anyone that can ride that distance in the amount of time allotted, whether it is in a rally or just out touring the country but "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me"

I always thought it would be cool to work things out somehow to "pass the torch" from coast to coast as fast as possible.

Some kind of item ... that could be verified at the start and the finish.

organize different riders from different states to escort the item. Just a couple/few hours each.

Just check the odometers anyone trailered that much will be shy a few miles!

The honka hey sounds like fun but not on my sporty... I could do it if I borrowed my dads tour glide ultra classic. That thing is a two wheeled lay z boy!

I'm saddened by this news.

I worry IA and others will feel this detracts from what they accomplished. (It doesn't!)

I also worry it will negatively impact other long distance rallies. (It shouldn't)

For those that are interested in endurance motorcycle riding, there are other reputable venues to pursue your interest.

Hokey Hey.
What I would like to know is did any of the charities from either year ever recieve any monies?
If you want to do a rally, there are plenty of above board ones available. IBA, Cape Fear, Not Superman, etc.
