Iron Horse Inn, Deadwood during Sturgis

Even the spoke doesnt have running water in cabins not that I cant handle a communal *******/shower but would rather have my own. Wonder what rooms like super 8 go for at rally time?

We stayed this year at Holiday Inn Express in Deadwood. Four night minimum at $400/nite. If you are going to be drinking, I would rent a house or motel room in Sturgis. Deadwood is a nice town, but Sturgis is the place to be. I need my own bathroom and bed.

I stayed at Katmandu in a tent. It is one exit from Sturgis. They run a bus into Sturgis at night, at least they did in 09. As I recall, they had cabins for rent as well.

A couple of years ago somebody mentoned a college campus (S.Dakota St.) in Sturgis renting rooms out at one of their dorms while the students are gone. Could check on that.

The shitty thing for me about Chip and Broken spoke, is you have to rent the cabins for a 2 week min 29th-12th , I would be riding in on the 5th or 6th and take off on the 11th most likely. O well will have to figure it out, good news is I have a fair bit of time to do that.

True that, are rates at the Broken Spoke same as Chip? $1,700 for the two weeks? Is that for the cabin or per person?
