Both nice bikes. RK has the old school looks. SG has fairing, stereo, etc. Different bikes for different looks & riding. RK removeable wind screen as well. Good luck!

The only advantage to a street glide is a crappy radio, if you like crappy radios. With a Road King 'The preferred bike of the gods" You see the road better, You dont have a dashboard in front of you and you can take off the windscreen in about 5 seconds

Go ride one of each and you will see why a Road King is the obvious choice first hand. Enjoy.

when I tested them, If I had to pick one, I'd go with the SG, even then I'd change the seat and bars. Didn't really like either of them in stock form, nor do they fit me as well as my Heritage does. just me.

I really like the idea of having the radio... Is that enough reason to sway my thoughts towards the SG though?

The radio is fine and with Sat. radio or IPod interface it's awesome. Even with FF helmets.

The dashboard is great for information (gauges) and also auxiliary cigarette lighter outlook.

Besides looks, having a radio made all the difference along with cruise control. It's awesome!!

If I want tunes I listen to my Ipod. With some good earbuds or small speakers mounted into a FF helmet you won't have to spend a fortune buying a stereo to hear at higher speeds and over your pipes...the stock ones just don't cut it IMHO

An IPOD with earbuds will sound 100% better and ya wont be pissing off people with a loud crappy radio
