Anyone know why Harley-Davidson produces the silver painted engine? Personally, the silver color engine gives an impression of cheap, inexpensive, low quality and I have as of yet to see a silver engine bike that actually looks better than a black engine bike. IMHO.

 

i like the silver motor...

I have to disagree. I don't like the look of black engines or pipes. Just isn't for me.

 

Personally I like the look of contrasting colors on the motor... like silver and black.

 

Its all about choice....not everyone wants a blue bike. Therefore they have different colors...

I guess to each there own, I have yet to run into someone in person who says they like the silver case over the black denim. Chrome is one thing, but I agree that the silver looks cheap to me.
