good for you ,
i always help if i can , no matter who , bike or car , even changed a tire for a guy in a camper van once , a Dutchmen in a hymer in France , he was old , and it was a pretty hot day , i was bolloxed after , he tried to give me a bottle of vodka , as he didn't have any cash to offer , i , like you , said just pass it on if you can , if it had been a single malt whiskey i may have taken it though ..... lol

but its a great feeling to help a person in need for no personal gain , i hope someone stops for me or my wife if the time comes .

well done that man .

Good story man and it does make you feel good to help someone in needs. I'm guilty of this too, but so many times we just look ou of #1 and forget everyone else. Paying it forward is not a bad thing.

Last year my wife and I stopped to help a Mom and kids change a tire on a mini van. We had no more than pulled to a stop than a deer ran across the road, right where we would have been if we had not stopped. Instant Karma.

I'm sorry, but all the mertic bikes I looked at (rice rocket or cruiser type) when I was shopping around for a bike were all competitively priced with the Harley that I ended up buying. Actually, my 883L was cheaper than any of those other bikes I was looking at. Much nicer too... but that's just me, maybe I got lucky. Sweet story, hope he remembers that forever and stops for people in the future.

Good job and thanks for sharing that.. it's a good reminder that.. we could use a hand every now and then..

I had a similar thing lately but I was on the receiving end.. We we in line to park down at Citizen's Bank Park for a Phillies game.. turning into the lot, this guy walking up the street motions for me to roll down the window. So I'm thinking.. here we go right.. I roll the window down and he says.. hey, I have this free parking pass, but we came down on the train.. here man, you might as well make use of it.. We all thanked him and offered money but he refused, said it's all good, enjoy the game.. That guy saved us 20 bucks.. not a big deal but pretty cool none the less..

Just goes to show there are still some first class people out there.. and like the guy who gave us that pass.. you just proved your one of 'em.. All the best to ya bro..

Cheers

mavrick

Karma can be a good thing & your story is definitely one worth paying forward. Way to go & hope you come tooling along on the NE roads, if I ever need a hand. Thanks!
