would the factory paint a fender ...

RE: would the factory paint a fender ...
Iwas in a shop just north of Huntsville Ontario on Thursday. I dropped a saddlebag for a repaint and after checking some of his other work, there is no doubt in my mine they will match the factory paint.
I asked the painter/owner if he had done any of those SE Fatboys with the brushed metal unpainted sections and he had. Said it was no problem. There were numerous HD pieces repaired and repainted with stock lettering and stripping including a complete Black Roadglide set and it was, to my eye atleast, perfect.
If we have this type of quality here in the Great White North , I'm sure there will be specialists in the south.

I bought a used aftermarket fairing for the RK and the parts guy at the dealer gave me the name of the local paint shop that does all the dealers paint work. I just went down to him and he's going to paint it cobalt blue to match the bike and clear coat it for $153.00. Check with your dealer, they have to use someone local for touchups and accident repairs.

thanks for all the replies. After further looking into it. I dont think i want to do such a drastic modificationto the screamin eagle. Re sell value will more than likely take a huge hit if i did that
