The only BS is those of you who think your LOUD pipes are not intrusive and annoying and causing the general public to have negative opinions of motorcyclists. That's not saying everyone should have factory stock mufflers. There's nothing wrong with having LOUD pipes, it's just the minority with the LOUD pipes that make every one of us look bad.
My neighbor across the street and 3 doors down did yard work the other day.
An hour of cutting his postage stamp sized yard in 6 different directions, another hour of seemingly weedeating every blade of grass he'd just MOWED, then treating us all to 45 minutes of leaf blowing what little was left around the yard, and street.
This goes on EVERY 4 or 5 days in warm weather.
He's a LOUD **** retentive pain in the *** about his yard, and EVERYone inthe neighborhood thinks so.
Does it **** me off? Sure. Is he in violation of any number of local noise ordinances? Damn Skippy.
Do I call the authorities, get in his face or flip him off?
No, we wave at each other when I ride past his house on my bike, or he rides past mine on his Honda.
EVERYbody pisses SOMEone off every day. People aren't in this world to live up to my expectations, and I damn sure don't care if I live up to theirs.

I'm offended every day by people with body odor, poor manners, rude customer service, no social skills or graces, **** poor driving skills, texting teenaged drivers trying to kill me, bigoted minds, ignorant illiterate idiots who get to vote, welfare deadbeats, and multi-millionaire career politicians lying to me while picking my pockets at every turn.
Joe Hot Foot up the street with his loud pipes is the LEAST of my concerns....
