I've had a lot of extremely unpleasant events in my life.
War & death are at top of that list, loud pipes just don't seem that important to me.
Thats why I live where I do.

I like a good sounding bike, but I was in a group ride last weekend with a bike that sounded like an 18 wheeler.

Yes some bike are so loud they hurt my ears and give me a headache. Do I have to ride with them? No, but some are my friends and I do tell them their bikes are to loud.

If people used common sense we would not have to worry about the laws for loud pipes because we would be looking out for each other, including those who do not ride.

I think it is pretty poor to say I can do what I want to hell with everyone else! That shows a lack of maturity.

Or an abundance of stupidity.

I ran the V&H Long-shots on my 08 Heritage & they weren't enjoyed by my riding friends behind me until I put the quiet baffles in. On my 08 Roadking I went with the V&H Dresser Duals with the High Outputs & I got a complaint or two with them too. I then bought the quiet baffles for them & I must say i like this setup even better!
Straight pipes aren't for me but whatever floats your boat! BTW, I think Rineharts are to LOUD!

If you want really loud, run open exhaust ports! HP will drop at least 25% and performance will suck!

Loud is not fast!
