I'm picking up my 2012 King on Wednesday, I'm as excited as a little girl!
Gonna try to put some miles on it before the snow flies, but I'll be a (happy) cripple before I can get taller bars on it in February. How can yall stand those stock bars?!?

I had mine rotated up and now it fits me pretty well.

Sorry about the laundry in background.
:-)
BTW, this was my first bike with cruise control. It was great to be able to shake out my right hand!

We can't. I had the stock bar for one season. The next year I swapped for the Road King High Bar. It does the trick and looks better than the Heritage bar, in my opinion.

I ordered mine in January, and was asked when I would like delivery. I chose May due to the weather here just being crappy till then. Not sure if I would have had to wait if I wanted it sooner.

took delivery of my new road king yesturday, love this bike, i agree with all of you about the bars not as comfortible as my heritage was. thats a project for over the winter. got about 80 miles on it so far and plan on rideing all weekend, weather is going to be close to 80 degrees. i will try to get some pictures this weekend and post. big blue pearl looks great in the sun. this bike is well worth the two months i had to wait while it was being built.

up to about 250 miles, enjoying the bike. starting to get used to the bars, still not as comfie as my heritage was but love this bike. i think this winter i will be adding and changing some things. hd should build these bikes with the heritage bars on them, seems that many of us have all said this. dont get me wrong i loved my heritage(very comfortible) but i cant believe how nice the rk rides it like driving a catiliac.(love the cruise control) now its time to work on getting a radio to work on the bike.
