Thought I'd made a mistake with FXRG jacket
I bought the FXRG perforated leather jacket over the net for a cracking price a few days ago - but still very expensive (especially in UK). Sizing is always an issue too with US gear. In Italy I'm an XL, in UK I'm an L, in USA I'm an M.
I wore the jacket to work yesterday. About 40 miles leaving at 7am. I thought I wouldn't need the fleece liner as it's warmed up a little the last few days. Was I wrong?
The jacket was tight (I'd chosen a medium size) and it was fekking cold. I really thought I'd wasted my money. To get me home I bought a cheap fleece as it was after 9pm coming home - still cold. I was kicking myself.
Today I decided to go out for a ride and wore the jacket again but with the fleece jacket buttoned in. WOW - total transformation. It felt snug and safe - to feel the armour is reassuring - and WARM. Build quality is the best of any of my biking clothes and this jacket is destined to become my favourite and most worn item.

I agree. Also hard to layer a lot under the mid-weight leather jacket because it gets too tight. If I get a larger jacket, then it's too big without layers. I really should look at the heated gear.
