Default Vrod review

Took my first ride on an 05 Vrod today. Went about 40 miles with varying types of riding. Here's what I found:

Good points!!!:
High quality fit and finish
Excellent controls and levers
Smooth tranny with a definate clunk into gear
FAST!! 60 MPH roll ons were a blast
Pushed it to 105 while passing a car and did it with NO problem
Handles VERY well, very well balanced

Bad points!!
To much like a metric cruiser
Feels like it needs another gear while cruising at 60 mph
VERY stiff ride, kidneys hurt after 15 miles or so
Seat is like a PLANK, couldn't feel anything after just 40 miles

Overall it's a nice bike but I'm glad I didn't order one!!
Will be trying a dresser tomorrow, CAN'T wait!!

Don't throw your leg over a dresser unless you plan on taking it home. It's that simple!

OH MY GOD!!!!!

You guy's called it, I didn't want to bring it back!! Rode great, handles great, had good power even with the stock T/C, I HAVE GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THESE!!

My Nightrain should have arrived at the local dealer yesterday, so in about 2 weeks I'LL HAVE HER!! It's only taken 93 days from order to approx delivery!! AAAAHHHHH has it been 2 weeks yet??

I'm hoping the train is a mix of the bagger and the Vrod. The Vrod looks the part and is quick, but the bagger is a "true" Harley. Looks, feels perfect.

Anyone ever heard of someone "building" a bagger?? I loved the electa glide I rode today but It would have been nice to have it 6-8 inches longer. Maybe a zero up, slight rake, +6 backbone frame with a 200 rear tire?? Maybe some Corbin fairings??HHmmmmm I need some more money........
