When is it time to trade?

Seemed like a valid question to me. You know, this being a HDForum and all.

No interest here in anything else. I love my RK and am 100% pleased with it. I plan to ride it til it falls apart well up into the 100's of thousands of miles if I have my way.
I love my bike and will just keep it maintained, fixing things along the way as needed. I've got the extended warranty so until it's 7 yrs old anything that goes wrong will generally be covered by that. At 57,300 miles so far no problems at all and she's just a fantastic machine.

Greetings,
I used to trade every 2 years irregardless of what I had, but those days are now gone. I'll be on the Night Train for a long, long time. It just seems to fit me perfectly and I have no desire for a new bike anymore.

There are, IMHO, only 3 times to trade:
1. When there is an issue that cannot be resolved, or is too expensive to resolve. Like with a woman.
2. When you look at your bike & it no longer "does it for you". Like with a woman.
3. When something you like better comes along. Like with a woman.
