Do you run it until it dies? Or trade every couple of years?
When the putt under your butt no longer stirs the soul, then it's time to look for one that will. If a Vespa does it for ya, then pull the trigger.

Seemed like a valid question to me. You know, this being a HDForum and all.

No interest here in anything else. I love my RK and am 100% pleased with it. I plan to ride it til it falls apart well up into the 100's of thousands of miles if I have my way.

I love my bike and will just keep it maintained, fixing things along the way as needed. I've got the extended warranty so until it's 7 yrs old anything that goes wrong will generally be covered by that. At 57,300 miles so far no problems at all and she's just a fantastic machine.

Greetings,

I used to trade every 2 years irregardless of what I had, but those days are now gone. I'll be on the Night Train for a long, long time. It just seems to fit me perfectly and I have no desire for a new bike anymore.

Damn, as much as I like this bike I can't imagine keeping it 46 years like I have the same woman.
