Default Bike name

My bike was 22 Years old when I got it. I was at a family gathering with my son's mom, my volunteer daughter, etc. early on when I first became it's current caretaker, and while discussing the work in progress, my Ex noted "But you seem very happy with it, and it's running well isn't it?"

I said "Absolutely, she's my faded black rose. Still awesome even past her prime"

She was called Rose by all present ever since, and I just followed suit.

Love that Old Girl, may eventually get another Harley, but I intend to always keep Rose. It's a great machine.

I just refer to it as scoot. Never got in to naming my rides.

Ellenor.
Bought a used 2006 Ultra. had not ridden in a few years and just wanted to ease her on home. Well- she DIES in the middle of the largest intersection in my city, at rush hour on a friday night after getting one block away form the dealership.

Almost got killed by a dump truck trying to go around the *** hat (me) on a big A$$ bike. I tried to get her to start and just would not turn over. I screamed some F&^*&# horrible words to her and BOOM, fired up- and I got the heck out of there to colect my thoughts. I made a deal with that bike then and there- take care of me and I'll take care of you.

Ellenor, is now seeing more of me than my Wife. 1,800 miles in first month of our relationship!

After my adventure a few months back I have nicknamed my 09 RG the Deer Slayer after hitting a good sized doe on the way to work. Never went down but did over 6g's in damage.

You actually paid to fix the deer? What a humanitarian. I would have just left it for dead.
