Of coarse if I had looked at the floor, I would have seen that it isn't cement. But still a good tip, for anyone thinking of heating just part of a cement floor.
yes as you notice only 2/3 of the garge has cement, that side is still dirt, so hopefully is no problem.

I'd put down plastic, then frame the floor with 2x6 and insulate between them. hopefully that will keep the heat from going into the ground. Everything (the whole building) will move together.
