Got the leatherup pants today, I wear a size 34-36 in Levi's and I ordered a size 40 because I took a thigh measurement. I must say fit is pretty decent on these, a little roomy but that's fine. I'll get them hemmed and for the winter they should do it.

Made in Pakistan though, my conscience tells me I have to send them back, my wallet tells me I can't believe I only paid $75 for these, they must pay those people in rocks.

 

Horsehide is the schitt. I have an Aero horsehide jacket that was my uncle's (Aero is a Scottish company). It's just a tad short for me, but the damn thing is awesome--naturally waterproof!

I wear tall sizes, which puts me out of horsehide, but, yeah, it does last forever. My uncle's jacket is 30 years old, and looks up for another 30.

Wearing a Fox Creek these days and am really pleased with it.

 

Check out Jafrum...they have great quality stuff for cheap & customer service is awesome. I bought a MJ400 leather jacket on there for $60 & received it in 3 days and coulnd't be happier! It's thick heavy cowhide which is exactly what I wanted. They have any type of jacket you could want for much less than anywhere else. i would highly recommend.

A buddy of mine also found some great deals on the clearance rack. Like 60% off. And not behemoth sizes.

 

Aero will make you a tall size by request with either longer sleeves, body, or both. I believe they have some hides from tall horses so it should work out fine.
