Check out the metric dealers in your area. A lot of them carry Fox Creek or similar leather. Find something you like then go online to see if you can get it at a better price.

Check out Hard Core Biker Supplies.
American Made in Peoria,IL, Naked Leather 1.3 -1.5 Mil leather. Almost Identical to my old Foxcreek Commander Jacket at half the cost. If I were to call it I would say they are made by the same people who make them for FoxCreek I have bought 2 from them one for the wife and myself. Great heavy riding jacket superb quality.

Did you try Craig's List? Someone in your area maybe selling and you could take a ride and check it out.

Got mine from Biker's Den. Classic Motorcycle style jacket was $99, chaps were $49, and insulated gauntlet gloves were $26.

Check out Milwaukee jackets and this thread. Great jacket, amazing fit, great price. it fits much better than my Fox Creek, which I had custom made. I'm not knocking Fox Creek. They're excellent jackets and the people there are great, but this Milwaukee is almost 1/3 the price and it's the best fitting and most comfortable jacket I've even owned.

I got a vest from HCBS.Good quality but you better be sure the first one fits cause it's pretty pricey if you need to exchange.

What are you looking to pay? I get leather from Ebay mostly. My Schott perfecto was $250 - about half or less of what it would have cost in a store - brand new, with tags, from a dealer that was closing them out. My wife got a brand new Schott on Ebay for $75. My other nice Schott jackets have run as little a $30 for some serious, heavy duty leather in great condition.

The other US brands on Ebay include Langlitz (costs too much), Excelled (lower quality than Chinese HD gear), Older Vansons, from before they started importing them from El Salvador (also overpriced, IMO) and older US harley Davidson, Bates, etc., that are usually in rough condition.

I stick with Schott.
