Hey, that's nothing for a Florida ride. I did it from Jersey in the winter....twice.

 

That sucks man, I'm having my bike tuned by Doc on Saturday. First time I've seen an invite for this and I freaking live in Melbourne. PM for the next trip you guys do!!

 

We are leaving Daytona in 20 minutes heading there ourselves, 9th year!!!!

 

Dang.. Maybe if you were leaving Saturday, I could come. I have to work Friday.

 

Been there, done that. Not my cup of tea. Never going back. The ride there is flat, straight, & monotonous.

The hedonism that is Duvall Street is juxtaposed by the AIDS Clinics. The only thing I enjoyed was Sunset parties in Mallory Square.

 

We are even then. There isn't anything in Indiana I want to see again either. I'll stay in the keys and you stay in Indy.

 

Used to hit Key West often in the 70s and early 80s.
Pitched a tent many times at Boyd's Campground on Stock Island.
I always avoided the tourist joints. Is the Green Parrot still there (on Whitehead)? It was a locals bar when I used to go.

 

We can agree on one thing. I prefer not to ride most Indiana roads either and for the same reason: roads that are flat, straight, & boring.

 

Tourist joints where always fun for the tourist girls wanting to get screwed crossed eyed by something a bit sturdier than their fish bellied hubbies & boyfriends . Had a hell of a good time everytime I passed through down there .
