LOL... when I was young, they said it was Ariels - with the Square Four Engine.
ORIGINAL: grunt
The only real riders are the ones that have Enfields. Points, carb, and kick start. Nothing more manly.

I use to work for a smacktard that rode a Triumph and would go out of his way to bad mouth Harleys.
I told him that while I'm sure he thought he was frickin' hilarious it was only showing his ignorance.
Now over in another long distance forum I frequent a loud mouth stated "For example, I think spending $20,000 on a super loud chromed out bike that you don't know how to handle, and riding drunk, without a license or a helmet, is stupid. I have never met a serious long distance rider who was on a harley, so maybe the readers of that fine magazine are just ignorant to what we do."
He was refering to an item in the HD Enthusiast Mag.
Again, another smacktard.

The ballet comment was perfect, yet it's the BMW riders who must be ballet students. If you ever ride one you find out quick that turning right is way different from turning left. That is just outaballance enough for me to rather ride anything else. I suppose you get used to it, but my first (and only) ride one was an unpleasant surprise.
