Bright Ass Light Backlash???
#81
I installed the BAL-1 on my Ultra about a month ago. Set it to 3 strobes max intensity. Only complaints are from a group of guys I ride with, they say their retinas are fried after a couple of hours riding behind it. Now I ride at the back!

I never considered fellow riders. I have one on order since they are still developing units for 2011 and later bikes. How easy is it to change settings?

if you look at the display and see one line of LEDs across the center then it is a BAL1, a BAL2 will have 2 rows one on the top and one on the bottom

here's a BAL-2 ... at the 1:15 mark near the top left is an intersection a 1/4 mile away and you can STILL see it. The Panacea's are good but aren't that bright

Easy as 1-2-3
To change settings on the BAL-1, you use the supplied magnet, place it on the lens of the taillight, count to 1 and remove it. If you don't like that ssetting, and decide to see another, put the magnet back, say cheese, and try it again. It's that easy to scroll throught the multiple settings.
