Same here. I have one on my 07 FLH & 2 on my 2010 Tri Glide. Folks pay attention when they light up!

Who cares if its too obnoxious. F 'em, its about YOUR safety, not what anyone else thinks.

Nothing makes me happier when the *** end of my Ultra Classic is compared to Clark W. Griswold's house in 'Christmas Vacation'.

ive got mine set up to initially give a strobe effect (when I first hit the brakes) then it goes bright as hell. Ive had people stop me and tell me that I have a short, and that it looks bright as hell. When Im stopped at a light or coming up on a stop sign, I start flashing that beacon, and I can see folks staying back. I love mine. Expensive, absolutely, but the best mod you can get.

I too have the BAL-1 on my 2006 RKC and it is set at medium intensity with the strobe to solid on braking. I also have installed the wiring kit that lights my rear turn signals as running lights. I originally had the red lenses on those, but after numerous complaints from other riders that my brake light was always on, I put the amber lenses back on and no more complaints. two days ago, my wife was behind me in her car and she could tell my bike from about 1/2 mile away!!! I believe this combo also makes me more visible from an angle as well.

BAL set to maximum intensity, with a quick 3 time flash upon braking.

Love it, no negatives/ Laydown Smoked model.

Default BA Light

Just received and installed by BA Light. I can get it to flash once and hold, twice and hold , but I can't get it to go three, four, five or six. Has anyone else had this problem?

Like has been said.....there is a 'dim' setting.....the brighter ones are called 'parade mode' (I think) I have mine set on brightest, then when I apply the brakes....the light flashes twice, then twice again....then steady.
