Doesn't say much about their quality control.

Be careful sucking them up. If you do it wrong your rim will get bent for good.Take the bike back to the dealer if that's where you got it.

How many miles did you put on it in those 2 weeks? The first check is technically at 1000miles, but there are so many variables. Really rough roads and hard riding exacerbate loose spokes.

Hopefully they'll be able to fix their mistake. I had spokes go loose between intervals and bite into the aluminum hub making reseating/truing impossible...ended up needing to replace it and the cheaper option was a full new wheel assembly. Needless to say, I obsess over spokes now. Best of luck.

That has to be exceptional rare. I know of very high mileage baggers with laced wheels that have never had to have them tightened.

My son's 06 Street Bob has 37,000 miles on it. I helped him install a new tires.
I put the rims on my truing machine and they were spot on. Tried to turn on and it was very tight.

They loosen up. A lot of guys have lost rims from loose spokes. They need to be checked at regular intervals.

Stock it's unusual to hear this , aftermarket wheels it's common and some of the more popular sizes it's rampant . Screw it had my fill of spokes and went 5 spoke ThunderStar mags , spokes have a look no doubt but like a hot looking but bitchy redhead been there done that and fug it somebody elses headache now .

Check this. I bought my first Harley, 1999 Dyna Low Rider. About a week after I got it I started hearing what I learned was the primary chain occasionally slapping the inside of the case. Then the bike started jumping from nuetral to first gear just warming up on the jiffy stand. Almost dropped the bike several times. Trailered it to the dealer and the service tech tells me he can't believe the bike left the factory like that. Needless to say I could never trust that pos again and couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Harlet quality control seems like it is going back to the amf days.
