D@mn, you beat me to the post. I saw it on the news when I got home and planned on posting it myself.
I agree with the others. Totally excellent that somebody (in this case a group) stepped up to help someone else in need. That unfortunately doesn't happen enough in today's world.

Very cool to see people step up and help (except the DB in the suit) in such a time of need.
But I will say this, very disappointed about the actions after the man was dragged out - it appeared that perhaps the police officer forced everyone away, leaving the man to lay there unconscious and near the fire. Not sure what that was all about. Hope it turned out ok.

Stuff like that gives me hope for us as a world community , sometimes I doubt we are going to make . People want to help and will do extraordinary things in times of need , most have a hero somewhere inside they just never know till something happens to let it out .

Hesitant, not casual. Most people have never picked up a car and probably aren't sure what or how to do anything. These aren't trained first responders. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
