Default $28 dollars for a friggin t-shirt?

I have had the Sporty for a while now and decided I might pick up some HD branded clothing. I knew the local dealer was pretty expensive, but thought I might get better deals in Cherokee NC. Nope $28 for a friggin t-shirt. I did end up buying some boots though (marked down from $159 to $89) - and yep, yes I will admit that I that am cheap.

I do not consider shying away from buying $28 t-shirts as being cheap. I would even go further and hereby proclaim that anybody who DOES buy a $28 t-shirt just cuz it says Harley on it is an idiot. And do not bother to try and dispute and/or justify this stone hard fact, because if you do you are a bigger idiot.

Cheapness aside, $28 for a T-SHIRT!!!

They should be chrome-plated for that money.

So you went looking for a bargain priced HD shirt in a tourist area, in a HD shop that only sells clothing to tourists, not even Harleys or parts, and you didn't find a bargain...really?

As for $28 - it's 2011. That's not that high compared to concert shirts, etc. - heck, home silk screeners are selling 2-color shirts on Ebay for about that much or more, these days. If I go to Musician's Friend to buy a t-shirt from my favorite guitar or drume manufacturer, it's going to cost me $26 PLUS shipping.

Prefer pro Second Amendment and political dissent t-shirts myself. Cheaper too.

I think $28 for a T shirt is crazy also but it's your money and you have every right to spend it as you wish. It is NONE of MY (or anyone elses) BUSINESS.

JMHO but we should be careful about who we call idiots; some people might say that a big man posing with a pink gun is idiotic no matter how bada$$ you look. I wouldn't because it's none of my business.

if you will put a coat of lemon pledge on that t-shirt, it will last you for years. most dealers will even give you a t-shirt if you buy a new harley. once heard of a guy buying a used buell and getting a free t-shirt!
it is his money to do with as he pleases...no need to go calling him names.

I did pretty good at my local steallership this weekend.
They were having a tent sale.
Picked up 3 long sleeve tees for $ 50 and a pair of boots for $ 90
but that's about the only time I would consider buying cloths there.
