It is what it is. Most of us ride twenty thousand dollar motorcycles, yet we balk at a $28 t-shirt? That is the great thing about this country. If you think it is too expensive, you don't have to buy it.

Well, except for ObamaCare, but I think that is a topic for another forum.

$28 is crazy high for what you get.

This makes the HD T's look cheap...

Paul Smith Hijacks Flickr Image for High-Priced T-Shirt
By Alisa Gould-Simon October 27, 2008

In his post, Hodgin provides ample evidence that the image was absolutely lifted. Fortunately, he likewise maintains a sense of humor about the bold graphic plagiarism, going so far as to sport the T-shirt himself. But, fact is, the fashion house owes him an apology. Or, better yet, a portion of the profits earned from sales of T-shirt that costs a cool $235.

Future ones will mean something, like a trip souvenir, and I will get the full ppriced one I want, rather than a clearance I don't like. If I can find a clearance one I like great.
Ron750, that's a nice shirt and it's made in the USA!

We were in Niagara Falls Canadian side and there was a Harley shop along tourist row and your $28 T shirt was $52. People are nuts to pay for these things. Check the 50% off rack at your HD dealer. Found some good deals there.

Fruit of the Loom black T shirt with pocket, 3 pack 9.97. Ok, the shirts don't say Harley, but as far as I'm concerned if I was going to walk around doing free advertising I should at least get a free shirt. jmho

Thats how it works, companies PAY to advertise their products. And they laugh themselves silly if they can get some idiot to actually PAY THEM to advertise their product. I met an executive from the Tony Hawk company who said 'who needs billboards and tv when we have 1 out of 10 kids in America paying us to put our name on their shirt'. So yeah, excuse me if I think its rather idiotic to pay to advertise for a company. That said, I do have a few Harley shirts, Im wearing one right now my sister bought for me in Cancun, but even that one didn't cost $28.
Swede, I'm sorry but I find it totally absurd that you would pull your sister into this................... got a picture of her? lol

A T-Shirt blank costs about a dollar, that's One Dollar

So it's a given that when you buy an imprinted shirt
whether it's $10 or $28 or $100
you are paying for the graphic design, ie "art on a shirt"

and even at $10 it's way more than the practical value of the shirt

I can't believe that anyone would pay what they do for modern art
Like for instance this painting by Jackson Pollock

which sold for $140 million dollars
in 1948

but if you want to give me one ...

someone once said something about the eye (or eyeball)
of the beholder
