Personally i don't find $28 off the wall, that said i too only buy from the "sale" racks unless something really hits me. All the HD stuff is overpriced we know that so why the excitement? My problem is those that must get on here and toss around their attitudes, like any of us care! Ur money man spend it how you like.

Not just a HD thing. Funny how some wil pay big bucks for all kinds of advertising crap to wear.

I am old enough to remember when they gave all this crap away for you to wear and advertise for them. We did't buy bottled water back then either.

Were we smarter back then or just didn't have the money to throw away?

I like the plain, solid color, no-pocket ones they sell at walmart for $3-5, but $20-25 is normal for detailed, screen-printed T-shirts.

I just came back from buying some jeans. Levis, just regular no frill ones, are going for $54. I bought Lee's for $26. I guess I won't be wearing anymore Levis. I've bought off-brand jeans at local farm and tractor stores, but they just don't wear right while riding a bike.

$20 ish and yes I am cheap. I also have two cars, two bikes, a van and a dually -- no payments.

Levi's aren't like they used to be. They changed the 505s to a cheaper denim, relaxed the fit more than originals, less belt loops. I wear Carharts, next pair will probably be Diamond Gusset, made in USA.

I posted a rant about this topic a couple weeks ago. I have stopped buying the shirts at the dealer, unless I can find one on the clearance rack.

I sell vintage (French for used) H-D t-shirts at the motorcycle swap meet for $10 each.
