I use HOG with the extended coverage.
It works for me. They are a bit geographically challenged at times. I have suggested that they refer to the handbook they send members each year as the maps showing dealers are generally quite good.
I needed a tow in Fort St. John BC and the person on the phone wanted to know if I wanted the bike taken to my house. I had to point out that was 1500 miles away.

I have an RV/Motorcycle attachment to my AAA but have never had to use it
also have HOG but never used it either.
Wait....
I've only broken down ONCE in over 300,000 miles.... my E84 FXRP in the middle of New Mexico, 1987, the wire came off the ignition coil
and I was fifty miles from a phone. Good thing I carry rudimentary tools.

I just got my AAA Plus upgraded to "RV" (which includes motorcycles). Used it Saturday for a Flat I received getting to a PGR mission (went flat in the Publix parking lot (after a 20 mile jaunt up I-95) Boy was I lucky!!!).
Flat-bed truck showed up after about 50 minutes or so, I rode up the bed, braked, the bed leveled, and the driver tied down the bike. The envolvement was actually LESS than putting my car on a flat-bed, so I don't understand what the mystique (and the extra 30 bucks) is with hauling a motorcycle!
Anyway... after the mission, I got hauled over to Palm Beach Harley (Thank You, Michelle!!!) and picked up the bike, which unfortunately, got a Dunlop put on the back because they don't sell Metzler or Avon!!![:@] Still, overall, a far better day than Petty Officer Damon Crook had! We should all count our blessings!!!
