ORIGINAL: Nu B StreetGlider

That's why I call myself "Nu-B" (newbie)

not even a week at home. I went on Craigslist. Being so excited(SUCKERED), And seeing the comparison of $379, for new Slip-ons at the dealership. I pick up a $120 set of "So-Called" SE (DRILLED -OUT Stockers!!!!)[:@][:@][:@]

It sounded good but it made my pipes glow!!! [:@] Too Lean

Changing pipes won't make your bike run leaner, nor will making any mods to stock pipes make your bike run leaner. If you bike is running lean, get it tuned properly!

When I bought my 01 Heritage new, MoCo offered two levels of SE pipes SE 1 and SE 11. I bought the SE 1 (from the dealer) and they did not say "Screaming Eagle" anywhere on them.
Atleast I would say that with 90% certainty.

On a web search that number comes up as a set of HD touring (cat) mufflers. Do they look like these:

Ebay Listing

Sounds like you might have indeed been snookered?

If they are the same as the one's you pointed out on eBay, they are indeed SE mufflers, but not SE II's. If they come with the SE Stage 1 kit, they wouldn't be stock mufflers.

I don't think you got snookered.

Yep. it sounds like those are the mufflers he got - I was thinking he said SEII's but in re-reading the post he said SE's so you're right I think - he did get SE's as listed.

In MY own defence he pushed them off as SEII's going for $933.00. I feel missled if anything. Instead of performance cans I get not only stuffed up stockers but ones with a catalyst packing to make them heavier and quieter than the original cans. In fairness to the company he said he would fix things but Ill keep everyone posted. He sounds like an honest guy to me lets see what happens. Im sure if any of you read the add you would believe you were getting the good cans worth $933.00 that were loud and made the bike sound hot. These make the bike sound like a Vespa I'm way bummed. $275.00 to my door hurts when youre expecting the goods and you get the bads. Ihope he keeps to his word and makes me happy. I'll let everyone know.
