Class Action Lawsuit; Harley is too "Hot"?
#21
I'll take some of Harley's money, no problem.
I installed the Ultra Cool Oil Cooler on my 08 FLHRCI and it took 21 degrees F off my oil temperature. So i feel better about the engine. I would like 220 degrees, but a consistent 229 degrees is a real relief.
On long, long rides (like 8 hour days) when I put my feet up on the crash bar, the air gets to the engine to cool it better. but hot air rises, and at the end of the day I feel like a "sunburn" sesnsation on the bottom of my thighs.
I wonder how folks with the 103 and 110 ci air / oil cooled engines are doing.

Check out this website...!
http://www.prweb.com/releases/harley...web8701137.htm
I got to thinking, and when I rode through New Mexico, my engine overheated. (This was before I installed the Ultra Cool oil cooler).
The reality is, I really don't know what is going on inside my cylinder heads.
I just had a Harley speedotach go bad after 18 months.
You could usually count on your heads for 100,000 mi. I wonder if you can now?
I called the number on the website and left a message. I want to know more about all this.
Thanks to who started this topic.

yeah, if I pop the hood on my truck when I get home from work and sit on the block, I'm pretty sure it will be hot
