Thank you Indiana, Park and Putnam Co. Wife and I just got home from doing the Covered Bridge tour in Park and Putnam Co. Indiana. They number about 31 on hard top and gravel through corn and bean fields. There are great photo opportunities and really great people to meet along the way. We camped at Raccoon State Park. Indiana State Parks rock. The Covered Bridge festival is coming up in early October and we hope to make it back. Thanks again to Park and Putnam Counties for maintaining these historical structures.

When I was young my dad took slides of every covered bridge in Indiana. I thought it was boring at the time, but now am glad he did. I have an 8x10 of them that he had in his pharmacy here framed. Kinda cool thing to have to remember him!

You had a great weekend it sounds like in beautiful country!

 

If the weather cooperates my wife and I will take the tour this weekend. Sounds great and is a comfortable ride from here in S.W. Ohio.

 

Preble county here in SW Ohio has some nice covered bridges.
