Default ABS VS Non ABS

Hello Fellow forum Brainiacs,
Had this issue yesterday, bought a powder coated stock 17"wheel 27spoke.
I have a 2009 Street Glide with the same wheel, I had checked with the person I purchased the wheel from if it was on a ABS bike. He said "yes".
After my mechanic installed it and tried to roll it of the lift it seemed like the rotors where not rolling as easily and they were rubbing.
What could be the issue??
Should he have removed the bearings as well and installed them from my old wheel to the new powder coated wheel?
Please advice..

Only 2 sizes of bearings with what you're doing. Right ones or wrong ones and you'd know it.

What is happening is the spacers are not exactly correct. Basically, the wheel is not centered perfectly and the calipers is dragging on the rotor.

You can shim one caliper and shave down the other or you can pull the wheel and put the right spacers in...I have no idea what spacer you need as it's been a year since I did mine but I had the same type issue when I put a 2011 19" SG wheel on my 07 SG.

If my memory serves me right, when you flip the spacers around it just puts the drag on the other side.

he needs to get the right spacers or shim and shave.

My left and right were slightly different on my 07 Softail and I changed the wheel and had the exact same problem he is having. Flipped em' and it was perfect. Not saying that has to be his problem but it sure was mine. You could not see the difference until you stacked them side by side.

Shore is 100% correct. The bearings are the issue. I had the same problem doing a wheel swap. ABS bearings are bigger one one side. I had no issues with the spacers.
