I am looking for tandem and at least 7' wide by 16' to 20'. Pace and Haulmark are advertised alot here but I am not looking at Haulmark due to negative feedback. I am also looking for some US Cargo and Wells Cargo dealers. Going to have to be a least 16' inside for lumber length. Thanks.

I have a 7x14 dual axle Horton Hauler. Works great for everything. Have it set up to haul 2 bikes, but mostly use it for storage, moving tractor.... rated for around 7500 lbs.

I bought a Wells Cargo 5 X 10 Cycle Wagon in 2000. It has held up well, tows well, and looks good. When I do tow to an event (which is not always), it makes a great garage and I have also slept in it.

There are several good enclosed trailer makers (Pace-Edwards, Wells Cargo, Roadmaster, Etc...). I have a 20' v-nose Roadmaster, I bought used. It is the cheapest model and you can see where they saved money on the construction. Interior finish and coverage is not as thorough. Still a pretty good trailer. General framing construction between all the manufactuers is probably about the same; all are good. The differences are in the interior finish and details. I would get no smaller than a 16 foot and a 20 if you can afford it. Get the widest width (8.5'). Also good to get the wider door opeing in the front. The v-nose gives you extra storage room in front and makes it pull a little better, but adds about $700. There are tons of options that can really jack up the price. You can wire it up yourself for AC power and add cabinets, extra lighting, etc later OR you can pay the manufacturer; your choice. Also cheap to paint the floor with porch paint.

I intially bought mine to carry my four ATV's, but it can also do double duty for carrying bikes to some event. With the 20 footer, it also doubles as a car hauler. I like to get lots of clothes, gear, tools and equipment in mine. Like a rolling garage. Also use it to store my ATV's.

http://www.haulmark.com/

I have a tandem axle lowhauler from them. It is an excellent trailer with brakes, large capacity (two touring bikes), steel constuction, and will fit under most garage door openings. It tows like a dream. I got the widest one possible to spread the space beteen the bikes.

I had a good offer from 2joes on a used trailer but think I am going for a company that builds custom in Ocala named Gladiator. After looking at prices on other brands I found these people to be in line pricewise. I visited the factory today and these people seem first class, tubular steel, powder coated, plus many other features I liked, and they are local for me. The only question I have left is will 6'4" clear inside be enough for a bagger and a softail side by side? I'm going 16' or 18' plus v front but really would like to stay 7' wide because it is more in line with truck width and rear view mirrors. Thanks again.

We sell Featherlite trailers at our shop....nothing compares...from the toy haulers to the open car haulers.........We looked at everybody's before taking on the line, and Featherlite is the best made lightest best towing trailer made, they arent cheap, but neither is that Harley between your legs.

I have a Wells Fargo 7'x16' tandem w/elect brakes. I installed oak kitchen cabinets(top & bottum), counter top, built in fridge up front . Still have room for three bikes. Wired it for 120volts. Floor is black and white checkered tile. Drive up ramp in rear and side door. Future plans are to install a roll up awning (to park bikes under) and AC on roof. Its home away from home or garage away from garage. I have a 30' travel trailer but for exclusive bike trips this set up is better. Beats a tent anyday!
