i think every harley should at least have one skull part on there bike. keeps any pain in the *** away from your bike

 

That's how it looked when I took the football off, I never thought twice about it. I will get a new one and see how that goes.

 

Since its designed to be used with the stock cover, there may not be anything you can do except to torque it very gently with a little loctite on the main center bolt.

The way the cover mounts to the filter, it's not from over torque. Someone probably bumped the football and pushed in the pleats on the filter before this small cover was ever installed.

 

Here's how mine turned out when I took the football off. Just remember to get the rain sock if you ever do any wet riding. Save you from sucking in water.

And not an issue to get on.

 

Which stage 1 kit is that and what mods if any to get the willie g air cleaner trim to work with it? I have 2007 geezer glide if that helps. I have the willie g air cleaner trim too and would love to get ride of the football.

 

I ended up going with a CD, it's super original as the CD I used is a friends band and I'm sure less than 1,000 of the CD's were ever sold, plus I think it looks better than any option I could by, but that's just my $.02.
