Tattoos & Your Bike.

Tats are great because there's a story that goes with each one. Even if it's part of a whole sleeve or theme.
I was going to start a thread when I get mine finished. I have one more session but I think it still looks pretty good now. I'll condense for times sake.
My story is that about a year and a half ago, I had chest pains that i could not ignore. (good thing too) I went in, had the angioplasty and found five blockages. Blocked @ 95%, 2@ 75% and 3 @ 65-50%. Had five stents put in and felt lucky to have caught it when we did. Had not had a heart attack, but knew I had been a given a second chance in life.
I've since lost 50lbs, and and getting healthy(er) again.
A few months after the procedures my wife and I were riding a friends vtx and stopped to rest our butts @ an HD dealership and jff decided to test ride an 04 Heritage....We left on our first Harley. (in the sig) The wife saw how I was drooling over it and knew I had always wanted one so she insisted that we should get it. The comp T-shirts they gave us had the slogan: "Harley Davidson-Life Begins When You Get One". And that turned out to be a pretty meaningful statement to us as our lives had been through many changes that year. The bike being a BIG part of that.
Had been putting off getting my second tat for 10 years because I honestly couldn't come up with a design I wanted to see every day for the rest of my life. Here is what I came up with:
Sorry the pic isn't great as it must've gotten washed out on the top part by the sun.

I need a tattoo.
Been saying that for about thirty years now. Seems like when I bring it up I get that raised eyebrow look that my wife has perfected oh so well.
It's in my bucket list. Maybe I need to surprise her.

just go do it, it's easier to say i'm sorry than to ask for permission.

I've gotten (2) tatts & both of them Harley themed. Some may think that's stupid but for me, I like em & to hell with what anyone thinks. I wanted to show my love for my bike or I guess I should say riding a Harley. I'm on my 3rd Harley & ohnestly can't imagine not having a Harley the rest of my life. To each their own.....
