If I had a scala rider Q2 MultiSet Pro… I would take my best friend along for the ride. She happens to be my wife.

Together 27 years, we raised three awesome children and finally have a chance to enjoy quality time with each other.

The
scala rider Q2 MultiSet Pro would come in handy for those long rides in northern Michigan taking in the scenery and reminiscing about the good times, the bad times and whatever lies ahead.

If I had a Scala Rider Q2 MultiSet Pro, I would use it to communicate with the other Road Captains when we are riding escort on charity runs. There are just too many times when hand signals don't cut it when we have 200 or 300 riders between us. It's a safety thing that we constantly worry about (good communication). It would be nice to be able to communicate between the Ride marshall and the flankers.

We don't just serve as escort riders for our events. We volunteer our group for escort duties for a number of various charity runs.

That's me in the bright orange visibility jacket leading a run about 3 weeks ago to honor fallen riders...

If I had a scala rider Q2 MultiSet Pro, I would communicate with myself when I was a young man.

I would go back and do a lot of things differently, like, not sell my 1969 Nova- SS 396ci just because it kept overheating and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it.

I would tell myself to go ahead and ask out more girls in school and not be so worried about rejection.

I could have told myself to study harder and go to college, even though at the time, that was the last thing I wanted to do.

I would have told myself to accept the offer from the Marine Corps to make me a Warrant Officer and teach me how to fly Helo's, even though it would have required an additional 8-year commitment. It seemed like forever at the time, but looking back on it, it was just a blip on the clock of life.

I would tell myself to save more money and not just buy stuff because I could afford it.

I could have told myself to buy Apple/Google/Berkshire/ and countless other stocks that I thought about buying, but never did.

And, I would have told myself to buy the Harley i have now, FIRST. But, if I did that, the economy would be in lots worse shape than it's already in, I've done my part keeping the economy strong by spending lots of cash on Harley's and Accessories

The funny thing is, if I had to do it over again, I would do a lot of things differently, but even though I screwed a lot of things up in my life, it turned out pretty good. I have two wonderful daughters and a wife of 35 years that I wouldn't trade for a Supermodel (ok, well maybe I would trade for a Supermodel, but just for a nite )

If I had a Scala rider Q2 MultiSet Pro, I would talk to my Dad. He passed away suddenly this last June and I was unable to make it home in time to say goodbye.
After spending the last twenty + years in the military I expected when I retired I would go home and make up for some of the time I wasn't there, but something always seemed to get in the way. Harry Chapin's 'Cat's in the Cradle' described our relationship to a 'T'.
I'd like to tell him his newest granddaughter, whom he missed meeting by one month, is wonderful, and will know all about him.

The only thing close to humor in this is that I'd also like to ask him what in hell was he thinking by putting all the tools, equipment, and cars in his will when he knew it would result in taxes being assessed on them. He didn't like the taxman, not even a little.

I don't care if I win or lose, writing it was the true benefit for me .

Friday's winner will be posted on Tuesday. All of the entries we get over the holiday weekend will go towards Tuesday's contest with the winner being posted on Wednesday.

So have a fantastic, safe Labor Day weekend...keep the rubber side down and shiny side up...and post up more stories for us!!!

If I had a scala rider Q2 MultiSet Pro, I'd tweak it a little so I could talk to my 4-legged buddy, Bear.

Bear is a good dog, he's 95 lbs of cuddle, but we have a breakdown in communication sometimes, so a Scala Rider MultiSet Pro would really come in handy.

I would have a few requests of Bear if I could communicate with him better.

Like, could you please stick to one part of the yard to do your "business". And, how about staying in our yard instead of going to visit all the neighbors(even though they all love him).

I would also like to have a little discussion with him on his manners involving "sniffing" whenever we have friends over.

And really, when you want me to throw the ball, the least you could do is to bring it back!

Bear likes working with me in the garage, but he thinks playing hide and seek with my tools is a lot more fun than I do.

My wife would like to know why, whenever you drink out of your bowl, you have to drip water over half the kitchen floor.

Of course, to be fair, I'm sure Bear would have some questions for us also, like "Hey, how bout a little variety in my food, would you like eating the same thing everyday".

And, I'm sure he would like to know why he can't go on more car rides with us (it's because he sheds and takes up the whole back seat), but he's very sensitive, so we would just tell him that we need him to watch the house while we're gone.

All in all, he's a pretty good dog, but if I could just communicate with him for a little while, he'd be a GREAT dog.

If I had a Scala Rider Q2 Multiset Pro, I would communicate with my Uncle; Jonas "I N J U N Joe" Lay. He passed away in 1994 when I was only 7. He was a well known hang around in Daytona Beach, FL; My hometown. His entire life he lived like an outlaw-type biker, but could never afford a bike. He was always spending his money on his family, making sure we all had what we needed. I purchased my 2010 SG in memory of him.

We would take a cross country and back trip. We would discuss everything he has missed in the past 17 years (at least the things I could remember). We would discuss my mom's crazy *** life without her brother and how she probably would wish she was with us. I would tell him about the time that my brother and I were playing with sticks and I jabbed his eye out by accident (I would joke that the bastard deserved it). I'm sure he would ask about my time in the Marine Corps, and why I joined. I would tell him honestly that I wanted to GET SOME and serve my country. He may be a little confused until I tell him about September 11, 2001 - which happened to be the 7 year anniversary of his death. I would tell him how the country he loved so much, came under attack by cowards with box cutters. How thousands were killed and how so many are still dying because of those cowards.

I would tell him how the Bucs finally won a Super Bowl in 2002. How it was so damn awesome to see in person. Oh yes, we would have tons to talk about on our trip. Thousands of miles to cover and no care for time.
