I haven't really heard anything good about them. A couple people I know had them, didn't like them and changed to something else.

I've got the HD Heavy Breather, knowing what I know now I wouldn't have gotten it either. It sticks out too far, which causes my knee to be pushed out farther than it would with another style. A buddy also got rid of his because of it too.

Don't remember, but I don't think it had anything to do with rain.

I do know the guy that took his HD HB off replaced it with a style similar to the style of what's on the bike in your sig. Do you have a rain sock on that?

Biggest problem w/Hypercharger is performance...doesn't work well. The a/c creates "dirty air" situation within housing so you don't get max flow. Nothing you can do to correct - it's engineering/design flaw. If you want a cool looking a/c that doesn't work well - buy it. If you want performance - keep looking b/c there's a good variety of decent manufacturers who make better working breathers...at much lower cost.

I've got one, had it for around 5 years not had a problem with it, i changed from the Harley football mainly to get more air flow and something that looked better, wasn't aware of the dirty air situation that Iceman 24 mentioned, i know people on the forum are divided on them some like them others don't, iv'e got to say though it woudn't have been my first choice, but when i got it the wasn't alot to choose from for an efi engined bike, unlike now.

IceMan, does this dirty air actually cause a performance problem like a miss, backfire or anything like that, or just not the power increase that people were expecting ? was there a problem with the actual filtering of the air ?

Magna, thats why i like the Hyper.. it looks cool as hell. it reminds me of the intake box on top of dragsters and the like..

I don't really expect a HP gain with the filter. If i want serious power gains it will be in the form of a cam upgrade.
