I live on the coast here, and it s usually 50's in the winter at the coldest. Occasionaly it will slip into the high 40's if we have a really cld storm.

Honestly the warmest clothes I ever wear is long johns and dickies (jeans in any normals persons closet) on the bottom half and undershirt, long john shirt, sweat shirt, normal year round leather jacket with liner in and leather gloves. As far as head gear if you have a full helmet your fine or half helmet a bandana or face covering.

I wear a full face when it gets chilly. I'd be afraid if I wore a bandana over my
face people would think I was on my way to the G5 summit meetings.....

Why not just get a full face helmet
I have both, the peripheral vision is way better with the open face, and the skull mask wont cause goggles to fog...I also have the cool clown mask, both get ya weird looks...

I live east of san diego right at the foot hills it gets to freezing on occasion mostly high 40 low 50
early in the morning today low 50 when I left warmed up closer to the water you can start off in nice sun shine and ride east
about 30 miles and find snow most winters here done that a few times and it get real cold most days 60-70 during day not to bad a day to ride ...

I've got the crazy clown face mask as well. I love the looks I get while riding around town. But the best is they don't even flinch when I pull to the gate here on base. They just smile and wave me through.

I walked in to pay for my gas like this. Won't do that again! Bandana's don't stay on my face well so I prefer this. M
