Fayetteville, AR Bikes Blues and BBQ Information

Just East of 540 in Bentonville (on the road that goes to Rogers), there is a hotel that is very reasonable, clean, and has a lot to offer. You can even do laundry there. I think it's a Holiday Inn, but not real sure. Wife and I had to pull in there and stay overnight due to her getting sick several weeks ago.

I agree Eureka Springs is a cool place. But "short" isn't how I would describe the ride - especially at night. It's gotta be at least an hour from Fayetteville. But, I never did that trip even though I've been to both many times from Rogers. Plus, I would definitely not care to do that curvy ride at night, not to mention the deer and other critters. You gotta be able to do better than the prices you're finding. Try the Rogers/Bentonville area.

That's no joke. I had a deer run across the road in front of me at 2pm, right in front of Bubba's BBQ. I don't know who was more shocked, the deer, or me.

If a cencellation comes in the Motel 6 in Fayetteville is the least in price. The person at the desk said their are full with people who attend the rally every year. I'll keep calling.

Lots of people stay in the Bentonville/Rogers area. Springdale is OK too, really. Personally, I've been boycotting Eureka Springs. I don't like having to pay for parking so I can go spend money at an establishment and Eureka Springs goes through anti-biker phases where they will write you a noise ticket for sitting at a red light. People have gotten noise tickets with bone stock pipes, just because. There are two factions vying to run the town, the biker faction and the anti-biker faction and depending on which one has the city council, that's how the PoPo will react. So, I avoid Eureka, but, that's just me. I also would not want to have to ride to Eureka at night. The main highways are bad enough. Last Thursday, a deer jumped out of the woods and hit my LS400, doing $2400 worth of damage. At 8 in the morning. In Bentonville.
