Not using the headlamp modulator, but did get the Kuryakyn Panacea setup (break light flashes and turn signals act as running lights) ... I like this setup very much ...

I added a headlight modulator on my Dyna. It is very easy to do and really improves your visability to others. I also bought a tail light flasher that will fit any Harley but decided not to install it as the module would have to be installed under the seat. The headlight module is self contained within the headlight housing so I don't have a bunch of extra wires running along the frame like I would with the tail light installation. I got mine from Kisan Technologies http://www.kisantech.com for $110.00. The tail light flasher is $80.00

I have the Kuryakyn Panacea taillight that flashes when I apply the brakes (it also makes the rear turn signals act as driving/brake/signal lights that flash when braking too). I think it's a great idea. It makes anyone behind me notice it.

Cheers!

I have the orginal Backoff unit, not the XP. I really like mine. My trailer lights even work off it when I am towing.

I use an LED Kuryakyn smoked Laydown taillight which gives you three quick flashes when brakes are applied. I also added the K. turn/run/brake module which makes the rear turn signals running lights and brake lights. They flash also when brake is applied. Anything to make you more visible[sm=goodidea.gif]

I have been using a headlight modulator for years.
I was run off the raod twice years ago by cars pulling out from side streets into my path. Both kept going and never stopped....
SInce installing the headlight modulator I KNOW that I am seen more often.
I have people point at my light, tell me I have a short, etc....
I won't ride my bike without it.

Hey thanks guys,

They do seem like a good idea. My bike already has the turn signals as running lights.

Are any of these brands just plug in or do they require splicing into the harness?

The aux. brake modules from H/D and Kuryakyn are both plug and play.
