Tinting a HD windshield?
#11
No experience tinting things myself, but just a thought.
Even the littlest flexing of the shield, wind, temp, etc. would more than likely cause some blemishes of the finish over time. There may be a reason nobody is really saying "HEELLLLL YEA, do it, I did it...yadi yadi..."
I'd go with the aftermarket to ensure you aren't worrying about this down the road.

I doubt that is an issue with motorcycles or HD would not be able to sell and install them at a dealership. My tinted is a short one though.

Just put a tinted shield on my '02 Heritage from F4 Customs(www.f4customs.com). Better shield than HD's has built in rain sheading that works great, you can use Windex and less scratches from cleaning. Just put another one on buddies FatBoy. They come in various heights also.
