Default No New Electronics for 2011 and Older, I feel the Moco has abandon us.

Here's the reason for the title to this thread. With the release of the 2012 models. The MOCO has come out with a totally new ECM and electronics module for bikes from Dyna's to Touring (not sure about sporties or Vrods). With the release of these items, I see that the Moco has also stopped making any electronics updates to include, speedometers and LED turnsignals for 2011 and older bikes.
Now there are a few 2011 softtail bikes that are compatible but they already have the new ECM in them.

The way to really see what the hell I am talking about is you have to look at the "NEW PARTS" section on the HD PARTS SITE

As time goes by I feel that we will see no more improvments to our bikes electronic wise (tachs, speedos...lighting). The Marketing dept will use this as a means to get people to buy a new bike.

I for one am not happy about this and expressed my displeasure already to HD. But I am just 1 person. I am bumming about this because it will force aftermarket makers to switch too.

I just feel like I have been dissed by the Moco...Turning my 2011 into an antique in 1 year.

Check out Dakota Digital. They might have what you're looking for. They had a great booth at Hot Harley Nights in Sioux Falls.

So at what point should they stop making stuff to keep you happy? 1903's should get the ecm upgrade?

I have a 1986 EVO and a 2008 TC. Like em both.
What HD doesn't offer, an aftermarket choice is usually there.
