Are breakdowns part of the Harley Experience?

Seems to me the dealer made sure to come and get it, and take care of it pronto. What the hell else do you expect them to do? They are doing all they can!
Sometimes these things happen.
It's really not a big deal.
Actually you should be happy! You could have been out in the middle of nowhere.
Of course you're upset, I'd be too....but let it go, IMHO.
a 2012 Harley Davidson is as reliable a motorcycle as you can buy.

My 56 Pan never left me stranded, and it wasn't anywhere near stock.
My 72 Sporty only stranded me once, and it was my fault. I should have suspected putting a supercharger on a stock Sportster might cause transmission about shaft problems. SNAP!
My current bike, 06 Deuce has had one stranding and that was 3 years ago. Rear caliper seized at 75 mph and gave me an exciting ride to the shoulder. Since then it's been pretty much trouble free. (meaning no strandings).
