Only in FL? No, FL, GA, AL, MS, LA, TX, and sometimes SC.
The only way to avoid them is to ride at night.

They are out in FULL force during the hottest part of the day. And they have acid in them so, when your ride gets covered, you gotta get'um off or it will eat your paint. They'll be all over your house too. I HATE those freakin things!

I went for a ride one day.... Smashed 20 at the end of my driveway... Pulled back in... Wasn't worth it...
Imagine driving thru rain... Cept the rain is bugs that smash and smell.... And by smash.... I mean if you see one.... And try to swoosh it away.... It will splat!
Soft, smelly, and much harder to remove, then they are to attain!!!
