Talking 3x5 flag mount for my 2011 Limited HD

Here is a photo of the mount I had made for my 2011 HD Limited. There are more pics in my photo album.

Is that a mount for a pole holding a 3'x5' flag to slide over? Or a 3"x5" flag to go over that?

I'm sorry, but if you're wanting to put a 3"x5" flag over that, I don't care for it. The exhaust is gonna make it really dirty. Just not respectful enough. IMHO.

That little stub with the spike top is just a fixture I have in while not flying the flag.
The flag pole is made up of 4 each 18 inch sections that screw together. Trust me, the flag that I fly on my bike is very well taken care of. I personally flew that flag on my gun truck on September, 11th, 2008 while I was in IRAQ.

I think it's pretty cool looking. I like the spike when you're not flying Old Glory. I can't imagine anyone thinking you cram a 3x5 flag over that little nub.

it's way cool you flew your flag in Iraq. I'm fortunate to have one a buddy flew in the door of his Blackhawk.

thanks for your service - I appreciate it.

Way to kewl......adds even more meaning to the flag when it was flown in a combat zone.

Well completed a PGR yesterday for the KIA pilot who went down with the other 29 soldiers. Flag mount and pole system held up great. Ran over 45 mph for over 30 miles with the flag up. Held great, nothing felt through the Harley either. I am telling you, this mount that GraysMachine built me is totally kick butt.

Great to hear. And I do like the workmanship.

Thank you for your service!

The fellow that fabricated it, would he make more. I would be interested in a complete flag kit for my '10 RK.

BTW I have a PGR mission tomorrow evening for one of the SEALs lost in that attack.

Thank you for your service.

AIRBORNE!
