Yea I rode the 48 but I also borrowed my brother's Wide Glide. I get about 65 miles out of a tank on the 48 and I knew we'd be riding in the middle of nowhere. Last thing I wanted to do was get somewhere and not be able to get fuel.
Some of those baggers are flirting the line that the huge fat tire choppers got into, just ridiculously gaudy. Im probably borderline OCD so I love symmetry. While I appreciate the work that goes into the the Sinister-style bikes bug me. 2 different color fork legs, paint jobs that run diagonally, one side of the bike doesnt match the other. Just me but Im not a huge fan. I appreciate the work though.

Great pics man, thanks for sharing.
I went to Sturgis this year for the first time this year, and based on your pics, I MISSED A LOT!
I just because I want to say this, I rode mine too - 2,490 miles round trip.

It is cool to see your pics. Many of which I have also, but your bike pics are the best. Great job. We went out the week before for the riding part and will go that route again. When we pulled over to take pics of things we where about the only bikes on the road. Funny, but we took the Vanocker canyon road, the closest ride out of Sturgis, for the first time. Was a great ride and don't know how we missed it before. Never get enough of the riding out there.
